Petroleum products thickened with aluminium, calcium or lithium soaps and, if appropriate, improved with suitable additives. They are used for a relatively narrow, usually quite well specified application range.

Applications:
For end gears in locomotives or for lubrication of other enclosed gearboxes (contains graphite).
